    Factors of drawing die its processing quality lead to rapid wear of die

    Lead to rapid wear die improper use of factors of 2.2 wire drawing process
    (1) the drawing surface shrinkage is too large, resulting in cracks or broken the mould. A crack or fracture lines most is the release of internal stress generated. In any material structure, there are internal stress is inevitable, the stress produced drawing wire could have enhanced the mold microcrystalline structure, but when the drawing surface shrinkage is too large, can not be timely lubrication and high temperature will cause the mold that portion of the material is removed, the microcrystalline structure stress will increase greatly, so that the it is easier to crack or shatter.
    (2) wire tensile axis and the die hole center line asymmetry, resulting in uneven stress effect of wire rod and wire drawing die, and the mechanical vibration impact also can cause stress to a high peak of wire rod and wire drawing die, both die will accelerate wear.
    (3) caused by the annealing non-uniform wire hardness and other factors likely to cause diamond wire drawing die early fatigue damage, an annular groove formed, aggravate the die wear.
    (4) the wire surface roughness, surface adhesion of oxide layer, sand or other impurities will make the mould excessive wear. When the wire through the die orifice, oxidation layer of hard, brittle and other impurities as abrasive as adhesion caused by drawing die hole soon wear and scratches the surface of the wire.
    (5) unsmooth lubrication or lubricating oil containing lead to die wear metal debris impurities. Unsmooth lubrication will make the drawing die hole surface temperature rise too fast, diamond grain shedding, die due to injury. When the lubricating oil is not clean, especially one containing metal debris shedding drawing time, very easy to scratch the surface of the die and wire.
